Sleeves (R2)

These little tubes work as fancier flowing sleeves.

You will need:

  • yarn scraps
  • 4 x double pointed needles (3mm)
  • tapestry needle
  • scissors

Pattern:

Cast on 15 sts and join into the round.

  1. Rounds 1 to 3: [k3, p2] x 3
  2. Round 4: [k3, p2tog] x 3
  3. Rounds 5 to 7: [k3, p1] x 3
  4. Round 8: [k2, ssk] x 3
  5. Rounds 9 to 11: k –
  6. Round 12: [sl1, k2tog, psso] x 3

Thread yarn through remaining stitches and pull tight.

Making Up:

Turn sleeve inside out and fix the top of an arm to the point. turn back right way so the arm is inside the sleeve and fix the whole thing to the knitted body.
