A full length cape for your keyring buddy.

You will need:

  • scraps of yarn
  • 3mm knitting needles
  • tapestry needle
  • scissors

Pattern:

Cast on 4 stitches.

  1. Row 1: k –
  2. Row 2: k1, p2, k1
  3. Rows 3-4: as rows 1-2

Cut the yarn and reserve this small section. Repeat the pattern from the beginning up to the end of row 4.

  1. Row 5: k4, cast on 4, k4 across reserved section (12)
  2. Row 6: k1, p10, k1
  3. Row 7: k –
  4. Rows 8-9: as rows 6-7
  5. Row 10: k1, p10, k1
  6. Row 11: [k2, kfb] x 3, k3
  7. Row 12: k1, p2, k1, p3, k1, p3, k1, p2, k1
  8. Row 13: [k3, p1] x 3, k3
  9. Rows 14-15: as rows 12-13

Making Up:

Attach each shoulder extension over the top corners of the keyring buddy's body.

Sew in any remaining loose ends.
