This skirt was originally designed to fit the pinched body shape. The x 5 multiple at the end of the rows can be changed to x 6 for a rectangular body base and x 9 for round one.

Cast on 25 stitches (5sts x 5) loosely and join into the round.

  1. Rounds 1 to 8: [k3, p2] x 5
  2. Round 9: [k3, p2tog] x 5 (20)
  3. Rounds 10 to 13: [k3, p1] x 5
  4. Round 14: [k2, ssk] x 5 (15)
  5. Rounds 15 and 16: k –

Cast off.

Making Up:

Tug skirt into position so that the narrow end encircles the middle of a keyring buddies body. Sew into place with a few stitches around the cast offs. Sew in any remaining loose ends.

Notes:

Needle/Yarn Size

As with most ODDknit patterns the yarn and needle sizes in the "you will need" section are just a guide. Feel free to improvise with whatever needles and yarn you have lying around - that's half the fun!
