Holey knitting but it's been cold outside this week!
But were we wrapped up inside knitting blankets and hot water bottle covers? - of course not. We were outside, on the coldest day of the year, trying not to shiver as we took photos of knitting in the snow.
This month we have a complete set of christmas decoration patterns available for knitting, all in highly fashionable red and white.

Happy Halloween! To celebrate we have one grisly pattern up right on time.
Of course we've already been told off for not leaving enough time for anyone to actually knit the pattern for tonight, which is why we will start work on the xmas designs right away.
September & October 2010
Wow, it's been a busy couple of months at ODDknit. There's been frantic knitting, house moving and even a little craft fair doing.
Happily we're back online now, though in a virtually empty house. There's no furniture and no curtains, just a telly, a kettle and roughly twice as much yarn as clothing.
To make up for the lack of updates last month we're going to be adding a bumper pack of patterns this month.

Oh dear, I left it pretty much alone for a few months but somehow my collection of yarn once more resembles a multicoloured bird-nest.
Luckily I am the sort of mad fool who likes unpicking impossible knots. Back to work!

Summer is here, the weather is beautiful and our first update is ready!
For the past couple of weeks it's been hot hot hot in South-East England, far too nice to stay inside in fact, and where ODDknit goes the knitting needles go too.
Of course knitting outside has its hazards wildlife, for example, and weather can be terribly inconvenient. ODDknit has persevered, however, to bring you 1 new pattern so far this month.

The ODDknit site is finally up and running online. Hooray and welcome knitters of the world!
In honour of this grand event our front page links are all to free knitting patterns for decorations. So start knitting and have your own party ODDknit style!
At the moment we have 7 free patterns available to download and in design notes we have the first in a series of pages on how we go about designing ODDknits.
